Freelancing As A Court Reporter... new article post

Just posted another new article in the Court Reporting Articles & Tools section of my site. Here is a sneak peek of the article entitled Freelancing As A Court Reporter ...

The best way to think of a freelance court reporter is to think of an independent contractor. Freelancers have the capability to take the jobs they want to work on and pass on the jobs they don't. The only influence this has is on their overall income. As a freelance court reporter, a person could work as many or as little working hours in a week as considered necessary.

how can i check the veracity of a csr TS?

my TS of 15 pages has at least 5 serious ommissions/revisions

the CSR is Asian, with good english but a noticeble foreign upbringing (accent) that i wonder may be responsible for some mis-recording.

i am having great problems with the judge as he has committed acts of judicial misconduct as has the court`s clerk.

the original court reporter has told me it will take her 30 days to get me a TS of two hearings about 30 minutes long each, as she was going on vacation and had other TS to produce. i accepted that but is that acceptable by your standards?

i do not want to file a complaint on this girl so i am here trying to get advise on hoiw to approach her to correct the record and to check her notes.

Thank You In Advance for any all replies!
