Treasure In Plain Sight!
I couldn't believe that nobody had purchased a few choice court reporting related domain names. Let me see if I have it right. It's the year 2007 and nobody in Englad as snapped up two of the most obvious court reporting domain names? Well, I went for it. I just bought CourtReporting.co.uk and CourtReporter.co.uk. Both domains forward back to my main court reporting website http://www.ToddOlivas.com for now. Looks like I may have to open up for business in the UK if the need appears.
Lessons Learned
Never assume something is taken. Never assume an opportunity is NOT there. Sometimes there are opportunities right in front of us. Sort of hidden in plain site. What opportunities are sitting in plain view at your law firm? Take a minute each day to examine where you're at:
- Is there a new way of accomplishing some task that will bring more value to your law firm?
- Can you be more efficient in some way?
- Can you stop doing something just because it's the way we've always done it?
- Can you start doing something just to see if maybe there's a better way?
