We Are Six!

According to Brian Head, Economist with the SBA Office of Advocacy, as a general rule of thumb new employer businesses have a 50/50 chance of surviving for five years or more.  So basically there’s a coin toss between business failure and success?  Er, I hope not.  I like to think that staying alive as a business relies more squarely on wise decision making rather than the hand of fate.

With that being said, Todd Olivas  & Associates, Inc. is now six years old!  We made it past the five-year mark and are weathering the recession with the best of them.  I mark the start of the business as July 1st  every year.  This year we had a wonderful lunch celebration at P.F. Chang’s.  Only Nancy in our Texas office couldn’t join us.  (Nancy handles conference suite coordination and collections.)  Still, I am proud to be here – at the ripe old age of six – and am excited for the next six years!

Thank you to all the clients and reporters who we have met along the way!
